Career and Employment

Distinguish the career event

A first job, promotion, internal transfer, change of employer, loss of employment and retirement are separate events. The commonly used employment group is 2, 6, 10 and 11: resources, service, profession and fulfilment. Business questions introduce different relationships and should not be reduced to the same recipe.

For a illustrative first-job case, write whether the target is the offer letter, joining date or first salary. Examine the adopted primary cusp and construct the event significators. Compare periods, then transits if the method uses them. A period linked with professional houses may still involve a different professional event from the one asked.

Occupational description

Profession descriptions should combine relevant house themes, planetary and stellar relationships, and practical context. Elements, modes and morphology can be discussed as secondary themes. An earth sign does not prove engineering; a human sign does not prove office work; a quadruped sign does not prove veterinary practice.

When several professions fit the same symbolism, preserve them as alternatives. For a working person, known qualifications and employment history are more informative context than an unsupported single job title.
